Pat and the Cuffe and Wallace families, I was so saddened to hear of Siobhan's death. We were friends since our days in UCD, which I calculate to be more than 50 years now. I have lived in New York for several decades, but enjoyed many shared experiences with Siobhan over the years, in Dublin and the US. She was a true friend.
I hope it wont be long before your grief is eclipsed by her legacy of wonderful memories and shared love.

She had been a valued and perceptive member of our book club, and i most enjoyed all her writings, from children's books to family history. Her charming etchings grace my home, and memories of a stay in Ballyportry Castle will stay warm in my memories. Her loss is a hard one, her legacy an impressive one, and i offer you heartfelt comfort in your grief.

Siobhan was so kind and so supportive to me when I had returned to Ireland from overseas and in the early days of my professional life. I treasure the times we shared in Carric Golligan, her keen design eye and sense of style and fun. She taught me a lot about how to approach life. My deepest condolences to all the Cuffes and of course especially to you Pat. I will think of you when I walk in bluebell rich woodlands Siobhan. Be at rest.
