Dear Gretta, I remember our family visits to you at the Havens Guild after Sunday mass at St Philip's. Alway smiling, always upbeat, with the ever-ready chocolate toffees. You were a steady and faithful presence in our lives. You will be missed. Rest in Peace. Condolences to Claire, Denis & the Bunyan family.

We have wonderful memories of our years together in London,and of our training and working life at the Whittington hospital.What good times we had.
Gretta was always a friend in need and would do anything for anyone. I shall miss her many letters and cherish the visits Pearl and I made to see her in St Damians during her time in Dublin.

Thank you so much for your care and contact over the last 9 years since my mum (Ann Dillon) died. It was so wonderful to hear your memories of those nursing days and delight in the memories you shared. I hope you are having a good reunion with her now and continue to pray for us.

I'm very grateful I got to visit you only a few short weeks ago and reminisce one last time.

In an old Kerry expression, and very true in this instance, Gretta was a walking saint. She could and would only see good in each person, I will miss her Christmas letter, knowing that it always contained tydings of real joy and messages of what Christmas really meant.
