We are very sorry to hear of Sister Assumpta’s passing. She was a dear friend of our mother’s family and a welcome presence in our home whenever she came to Cahir. Sister Biddy, as we called her, also had a deep love of Meath and gave us interesting insights into the legends of that county’s great Gaelic Football team during the 1980s and 1990s. Rest in Peace,Sister Biddy.
