She had a great love for Cashel and the Golden Vale of Tipperary bringing a ‘je ne sais que’ to Athlumney when she arrived. She was the ‘Mrs. Bouquet’ of St Mary’s. May she rest in Heavenly Peace.

We are very sorry to hear of Sister Assumpta’s passing. She was a dear friend of our mother’s family and a welcome presence in our home whenever she came to Cahir. Sister Biddy, as we called her, also had a deep love of Meath and gave us interesting insights into the legends of that county’s great Gaelic Football team during the 1980s and 1990s.
