It was with great sadness that I learned of Sr Clare’s passing. I would like to offer my condolences to Sr Clare’s community at Clondalkin Lodge and to her family in Balintaggart. I am thinking especially of her nieces Clare, Geraldine and Vera who boarded with me in the Cashel and whom Sr Care loved very dearly.

Clare was a gifted, groundbreaking educator who valued the Arts in education and instilled this in her pupils. Her kindness, gentleness, understanding and encouragement always shone through. She was a real beacon of hope and happiness.

Find memories that will last a lifetime .
