What a joy to have worked with Sister Constance in DCW her love for her subjects was infectious remember fondly accompanying her on a geography field trip to Turlough hill in 1982 it rained incessantly we were all soaked to the skin but nothing could dampen her enthusiasm. Rest in peace dearest Sister Constance your kindness will never be forgotten.
— Helen Finlayson
Sincere condolences to the family and friends of Sr. Constance. Amazed to read she made it to 100 years! I last saw her at 81 -where her passion for life was still so inspiring. Happy memories of her Geography and German classes and her travel tales. Conny's dedication as a teacher, love of Germany and the German language encouraged me on my life path and to a huge love of “Deutsch”- 25 years living there!
Let us celebrate her life! Her wonderful kind gentle soul and strong mind! So grateful to have been her pupil!
— Corinna Nolan - BC Canada- DCW 1978-1983
So sorry to hear that Connie has passed away. Happy memories of her trying to teach me German in DCW and her love of the language. Alas, I never quite got the hang of all that grammar but she never gave up on me! Rest in peace.
