Sincere Condolence to the Egan Families and to the Presentation Sisters on their great loss of Sr de Sales.R I P . She is the last of Nine of the Egan family of Coolnamoney, Clonaslee. The Five girls were all Nuns and two of the boys were Christian Brothers while the other brothers looked after the farm. Great credit to their Mother who kept in touch with them all as she had to write seven letters. No sooner was she finished the first seven and she had to start again. In their early days away no visits were allowed home and there were no phones . The only contact was by that very welcome letter. What a great Family. May they all Rest In Peace.

We are so sorry to hear of the death of beautiful Sr. De Salis, a truly spiritual, kind lady to all that knew her. I have the fondest memories of both her and Sr. Pius when they came to Portlaoise in the 80's, and working together with them in the Community on various projects. The door was always open to all that called for a chat and a cuppa. Truly great women, sadly missed when they left. May she rest in peace.
