Dear Mullins Family & Friends,

I was deeply saddened to hear of Nuala's passing. My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time.

I have cherished memories of when Nuala came to Hyde Park in the 1970s to visit her brother John and his family. From the very first moment I met her, I was struck by the twinkle in her eye, her love of life, and a peacefulness that seemed almost otherworldly. She had a remarkable presence that touched everyone around her. Nuala embodied grace and resilience.

I remember her fondly recounting a story from her time as a teacher in Zambia. She described how each morning, her classroom of little girls would grab brooms and, in unison, beat the snakes that had found their way inside before "throwing them out the windows." Her laughter as she recounted this memory was infectious and illuminated her vibrant spirit.

Nuala had a unique way of connecting with those around her, and I am sure she touched countless lives with her boundless heart and indomitable spirit.

As we remember Nuala, I take solace in knowing that her spirit lives on. May she rest in peace, and may her legacy continue to inspire and uplift us. I am immensely proud to be her nephew.
