My sympathy to Julie's family and her Presentation sisters. She was loved here in New Zealand. We spent a good time together here in community in Paraparaumu. She was calm in a crisis and did so many things when you look back at it. A teacher, a chaplain and I do believe worked at starting a group who stood for the unwed mother, helping where they could. She was great at making crafty things and I remember this huge quilt she made and hand quilted. I asked her last year if she was still quilting and she said "Kathryn I am 87!" Years go by so quickly. I met one of her sisters when she came out to NZ to visit. Not sure which one now, but that was great too. Rest in peace and thank you Julie for your many years here in New Zealand.

I knew Sr Juliana in Paraparaumu, New Zealand when I went to St. Patricks Primary School and Presentation College in the 1960's and early 1970's, where she was a much respected member of the Presentation Community. I last met with Juliana in Kilkenny, Ireland in 2017 and shared a wonderful catch-up lunch with her and Sr Mary Catherine. Blessings to Sr. Juliana's family and community. RIP
