I am shocked and saddened by the passing of Steve. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time

My sincere condolences to Steve’s family. I didn’t know Steve very well - I was a client of his at House of Hackney last year - but there was something so uniquely charming about him. I will never forget a conversation we had about Ireland because of how unbelievably warmly he spoke about his family. He told me he loved hanging out with them & how very close he was with them. It was a very heartwarming exchange that has stayed with me ever since. May he rest in peace.

There are no words to express just how sorry I am for your loss. Steve was one of the most special, beautiful souls I’ve ever known. I remember him as the ultimate dinner party host, giggling his way through the night with a Prosecco glass in his hand. I remember him as a true gentleman, always treating me with such care and kindness. I remember him as the brightest smile, biggest heart and most infectious laugh in every room. The connection we shared was so deep and pure—there will always be a space in my heart for Steve.

Deeply sorry to hear the news of Steve’s passing. I met Steve on my first day of college in NCAD, we sat back to back - he was pure joy, fun and energy from day one, full of warmth and generosity who brought us all together. He made such a positive impact on so many people throughout his life. My thoughts are with all of Steve’s close friends and family.

Wishing heartfelt condolences to everyone who felt the warmth, love and kindness of Steve, in particular his close family and friends.

Having met in Dublin on some fantastic nights out, Steve stayed in touch when he moved to London knowing I wasn’t long to follow. In those early days and months he showed such generosity and kindness — recommending where to live, where to go, extending invites to anything he thought I’d enjoy.

I will always remember him as a true talent and a rare kind soul in a city that can leave even the brightest of boys lost.
