To Maeve and family, please accept my heartfelt sympathies . I have known Stuart for just over 30 years and and am very deeply saddened by this news. Stuart was one of the cleverest people I have ever met and brilliant at his job.He was my 'go to" guy in each and every one of those years. I will miss him immensely for the rest of my years and that great clarity of thought he possessed.A spade was always a spade with Stuart and he was entertainingly cynical of those who couldn't see that!. Above all else, Stuart was a thoughtful, kind and gentle person.
I will greatly miss those and his many other qualities too.
A terrible loss to us all.

Thanks for being so open and friendly that time last year when I passed by your house with the dog I was fostering. His behaviour was wild but that wasn't a bother to you, you took him into your garden and like a dog whisperer after 5 minutes you'd calmed him down and had him playing nicely with you and your beloved Jerry.
