We are so saddened to learn of the death of Sunny. We had the very special privilege of having Sunny and Peter speak on the topic of Forgiveness at a Retrouvaille European Meeting in Dublin. What a beautiful human being, what a beautiful couple. May Sunny's family and friends feel her presence gently guiding them through these difficult times. My deepest condolences on the very sad tragic passing of Sunny Jacobs. Rest in peace Sunny My thoughts are with Sunnys family and friends in their grief..I had the pleasure of meeting Sunny and Peter Pringle in Melbourne many years ago. Sunny and Peter are now together forever. My deepest condolences to Sunnys daughter Christina and son Eric.

May Sunny rest in peace. Her story is one that will remain with me for life. She was an inspiration and an incredibly strong woman. My condolences to all her family and friends.

Sunny Jacobs, thank you for have Christina, she is amazing friend, she helps many people and has a heart of gold. The losses she has in the past time made her strong. You made her strong, her soul is pure like yours, her spirits are just as strong as yours. You are giving her strength and comfort to console her inner soul whole again. We are deeply saddened at Sunny’s untimely passing. We got to know Sunny through Peter whom I cared for at University Hospital Galway. We went to visit Sunny a little over two weeks ago. She was in her usual good form with that “Sunny” exposition. We sincerely hope the Sunny Foundation will continue the legacy of Sunny and Peter’s wonderful work.

Our sincerest sympathies to Christina, Eric, Alan, Claudia, Jesse, Bella, Nicol & Bella and to all those who have worked at the Sunny Foundation and Centre. Thanks to all who supported Sunny in living her life over the last number of years as she coped with disability. Sunny and Peter have left a legacy of forgiveness and healing that every human can learn from. Our wish is that all members of her family and those who knew her and befriended her and were assisted by her and Peter, gain the spiritual & physical strength in dealing with her passing. May her soul now Rest in Peace and we do hope we shall meet you again Sunny and your beloved husband Peter.

Sincere condolences to Eric, Tina, her grandchildren that she adored!, Sunny’s brother Alan and family, dear friends at the foundation Dorothy, Tress, Margot and all the foundation members, Sunny’s extended and close friends. Especially thinking and thankful to those that went out of their way and minded Sunny in these recent times, especially to Hayku, who made her trips possible right up the end. Sunny was a bright light. She made such a difference in the world. She was a mother and soul sister to many. I and my children will miss her terribly. Dear Tina, Eric, Sunnys grandchildren (that she adored) and always talked about, and to her very special friends, especially those that were a great support in recent times. Condolences to family and all who knew and loved Sunny.

I had the great pleasure to be befriended by Sunny and Peter, having visited with them a number of times in various spots in the US and Ireland over the years. As a professor of social work, I had Sunny and Peter speak to my students about their lives and their work. Now retired, I was pleased to receive an occasional, unexpected phone call from Sunny "just to check in." I'll miss those calls and our chance to catch up with each other. I am honored to have had the opportunity to know and spend time with Sunny, and certainly Peter.

I would be remiss if I did not add this on Sunny‘s behalf. I want to thank the people of Ireland, particularly those in the area where Sunny lived for being so accepting, kind, nurturing, and loving to my sister. She had many opportunities after Peter died to leave Ireland and return to the United States, but she loved it there, she loved “her people“, she loved the peaceful, beautiful land, her garden, raising her animals, she felt at peace there and while selfishly I wanted her to be closer as she grew older and lost the use of her legs to MS, I knew that she was far happier being in Ireland and I want to thank Ireland for Sunny and for myself because there was no doubt in my mind. She absolutely loved living there. we used FaceTime a lot and she left a lot of YouTube videos, there is one that she created on grief, please watch it if you can, it is not sad, it is not weird, it is beautiful and it will leave you feeling really good, which is exactly why she created it. God bless!

Aunt Sunny, I may have grown up waiting for your calls, our family gathered round the phone awaiting the ring to all speak w you, but when you were released in 92, I finally got to hug and see you without bars or shackles. From there, we got closer and closer each day, and I am so glad I was able to make it out to Ireland to experience the side of life that made your soul sing (and meet Barney & kitties). My soul now sings knowing the peace, safety, and value that Ireland brought to your soul. Peter was so special and he loved you without holding back, which you deserved so, so much. His smile and kind nature was evident in his eyes. May you rest with Peter and Barney now, as you did in life, together. I’m going to miss you..

I miss you so ,my beautiful big sister. You are with mom and dad now and I know they will be very glad to be able to hold you close and pour their love onto you ,and you to them So you know, Cotton went to heaven the day after you did so I’m sure she’ll be playing with Barney and keeping you company and keep you smiling.Please come to me to visit in my dreams whenever you can. Thank you for leaving all of your wisdom in your 16 rules as they bring me, Sydni, Aaron, Daniel and Nicol tremendous comfort. Remember, as I always discussed with you in our almost daily phone calls, I believe that, as long as you are remembered, you never really die, so my dear Sunny, you just changed forms because you live in every one of us and will forever and ever. I will be sure and my children will be sure to keep your memory alive, of that you can rest easy. May the wind always be at your back and the sun shine on your face for all of time, and now you don’t need a wheelchair anymore ,you are free completely FREE, I love you forever and a day !

We had a wonderful Yoga Workshop with her many moons ago in the rooftop restaurant in the Great Southern Hotel, where she brought joy, fun and laughter to all of us that were honoured to attend. I first met Sunny at JFK airport in NewYork some years ago . Herself and Peter were giving a Ted Talk somewhere . After that I met them both several times in Galway , during Cuirt and on Shop Street. I felt a great sense of warmth from Sunny. My condolences to her family and friends . May she rest in peace.
