My sincere condolences to you Patricia on Willie's passing. He left an indelible mark on me and all the RTE crew that made that television documentary with you both some years ago. He was a generous soul and a wonderful man with a tremendous heart. How fitting it is that he got his wish to be buried on his own farm. May he rest in peace.

My sympathy to Patricia and Family on the death of Willie. Some time ago he visited our farm and gave great advice on a land project we have since developed. It was a pleasure to know the man who left such a fine legacy .

Am so sorry to hear of the passing of Willie our neighbour at Ballymountain-he was such a gentle friendly and hospitable man. His nature reserve was his pride and joy and he shared his love of it with everyone. He will be greatly missed and hope his gentle soul rests in peace.🙏

Our pre-wedding in your chapel was the highlight of our celebrations a long 23 years ago and our family still talks of it to this day including how welcoming you both were and how lucky we are to have such lovely friends in our lives.
We also have such fond memories of visiting you with Denis and Rita in the beautiful weather and sitting listening to the sounds of nature.
We are so glad Willie gets to rest in the land he loved so well.

RIP Willie. Such a lovely place to visit growing up, it was magic. The ponds, the animals and just the raw nature nothing I’ll ever see again. The excitement when Willie passed the house in the horse and trap will never be forgotten. Such kind people. May you rest peacefully in your own land.

What an interesting life and person. Never met or knew of Willie just saw a press item on his death and had his own church and cottage etc. I would love to visit his place one day. Sincere Sympathy to his family, friends. May he RestInPeace 🙏🙏

What a beautiful person. What a genius when it came to the management of the soil, the beasts, the birds, the flowers and the Fauna. He was recognised by experts not only Ireland, but people from all over the world who visited his kingdom, to enjoy the fruits of his labour. I am sure Patrica, you were at the center of all that challenging work, in bringing that wonderful nature project to fruition, and maintaining it over many, years. How fortunate we are, to have this wonderful project at our doorstep, Willie, you have left behind, a monument, the planning, the hard work, the creation of the lake, the Church we pray in, and the natural homes you gave to the wildlife. The Kingston’s home was open, inviting, socialable, and Willie was an encyclopaedic, when it came to the management of the entire center. I was fascinated with the time he gave to people, I remember my first visit to the Kingston’s family farm, the welcoming hand, the tea and the homemade baking, Willie, was the perfect host.Rest easily in your natural sod.
