Kathleen, Billy, Debbie, I have just learned of Kevin's death, three weeks too late. He was the most courageous man that I have ever known. He fought his illness with great tenacity, a " never give in " attitude. I first drove him to treatment in 2016 and, over the years, we became friends. We had many a good conversation in the car, and he loved to talk about his family. He was an extraordinary man, who I will never forget.
Rest in peace, Kevin.

My sincere condolences to Kevin's family and friends on his passing. I knew Kevin through his efforts to make things better for cancer patients. The times I met him, he was gentleman with a kind heart and a determination to help. May he rest in peace.

Dear Kathleen, Debbie and Billy, I am so sorry for your loss, we just heard the news today.

Kevin was a great support to us all at Cancer Trials Ireland and he was particularly helpful in supporting the Pat Smullen Fund for Pancreatic Cancer Research. He understood the value of research and he showed great leadership in his own journey.

I will miss the inspiring messages of support from one of Cork's finest. He was kind enough to present a few of us with one of his famous hand-crafted Charcuterie Boards, a gifted craftsman as well as a gent.
