Great memories of working with Tom in McConnells.

I have very happy memories of playing with my cousin Tom as children at the YMCA in Waterford when our Grandfather was the caretaker there. A particular memory is of the time when Tom rode my bike ( which had no brakes) down the yard and ended up in a heap on the stone steps outside the hall door. The bike was ok but Tom unfortunately broke his arm …!

So sorry to hear about the passing of Tom. He was a lovely, friendly, gentle man with a heart of gold. I’ll never forget him helping me to learn how to drive and being my wingman in the hearse for all those years. I hope he has found rest and peace.
