Heartfelt condolences to the O'Connor family on the passing of Tommy. My thoughts & prayers are with you all. To live in the hearts of others is to always be alive in those we leave behind.
— Richard McAuliffe
I recall an uncle of Tommy, Eugene Conway visiting them regularly and driving Tommy and Liam (jnr.) to Ringmoylan where we swam regularly. The passing of Tommy is untimely, I will miss calling to Tommy and chatting with him. He was an inoffensive man.
— PatJoe Fitz Gerald, 24 Butterfield, Old Cork Road, Limerick.

Many great memories of Tommy Liam and myself playing as kids in and around the block .

Growing up in Limerick in the block or O Curry place .We became friends that lasted a lifetime.

As kids, we used to go to Dutch Jacks' house, which was at the top rght of the block just above my nanny's house .

We used to play the mechanic in Jack's van pretending with ice cream sticks we had repaired his van, which Jack played along with.

We saw an advert about a chocolate bar called Whispa .
We saved our money and went to Mescalles ( not sure about the spelling) and bought our bars
.we stood outside wolves bar and ate them, and it was the best thing we ever ate and went back for another bar and enjoyed it even more .

Tommy O Connor You have been and always will be my friend .

I have no doubt you are with the rest of your family, happy and healthy.

Until next time, rest in peace my friend,
and i will have a Wispa for you
