I was very sorry only to have heard just a few minutes ago, sadly a good hour after the funeral had occurred, that Valerie has died. I remember Valerie very well from when she was an enthusiastic contributor towards the ecumenical Evening of Christmas Music at St. Catherine's, Ahascragh back in the 1990s. We often chatted. Then, in more recent times, we would bump into each other here and there, her spirited humour unchanged, despite surgery. That chirpy, Scottish voice will be greatly missed. But, her commitment to the church will remain.
