Victor Walsh

I wish to offer my condolences to the Walsh family on the passing of Victor. I worked with Victor in 1982 when he arrived in Naas shortly after me. I am sorry I never saw his death notice but only saw it today coming back from another funeral of a retired member who was also in Naas when Victor arrived. May he rest in peace.

On behalf of Ballygunner Hurling Club, I would like to offer my own condolences and that of the Club to the the Walsh and Power family in particular on the passing of our friend and regular visitor to Ballygunner, Victor Walsh. No words of mine could ever lessen the pain and suffering that you are all going through right now but I would ask that you hold onto the precious memories you have of Victor, as we have here in Ballygunner as an avid and ardent supporter, as they will help you in weeks and months ahead. While he has certainly left a void in your lives that no one else can fill, he has also left a void on the side of the pitch here in Ballygunner and beyond. His smile and support will be sadly missed. May he rest and peace.

I offer my sincerest condolences to the Walsh and Power families on the passing of retired Garda Victor Walsh who gave so much of his life to protecting the lives of others and keeping them safe. Victor was more than just a guardian of the peace, he was a pillar of the Community, highly respected who gave selfishly of his time helping and looking after others and always with that winning smile. I was so sorry to hear of his passing and I ask that you fondly hold his memories as a proud Garda, a loving husband, father and grandfather in your hearts and never be afraid to share them as was one of life's gentlemen.
