To all the members of the Doherty and Farrell families, I was deeply saddened to hear of Vida’s passing. She was a kind and caring colleague during our time together at Rosary College in Crumlin from 1994 to 2003.

I will always be most grateful for the way she looked out for me when I first moved to Naas in 1995, offering lifts to and from school, making me feel welcome in a new place. Indeed, Vida always nurtured both students and colleagues with her wisdom, kindness, and dedication.

My deepest sympathies to you all during this difficult time and please be assured of my prayers for you all over the coming days.
