Vincent O'Donovan

My sincere condolences. I remember my mother, Dolores Quinn nee Kenny and her two sisters, Monica and Anita spent many summers of their youth staying in their uncle a Mr.Ferris's home, who was the school master back in the day, in the Neale and they were very friendly with the O'Donavans. I visited the O'Donavans home on many occasions with my mum and aunts. May Vincents soul rest in peace.

Vincent was a wonderful man whom I met first in 1981. He was devoted to his family and was also a talented poet, writer and teacher. He was superb company – we all enjoyed his great sense of humour and fun.

My father Michael Morrin,Ballyrourke held the O'Donovan family in high regard,always referring to their integrity and intelligence.
They shared a love of the written word and my Dad looked forward in anticipation of the next written gem.
