I am so terribly sad to learn of Bill's passing. Like others, Bill and I were students of all things French at the Alliance Française in Kildare Street, Dublin, during the 1990's. We 'acted' on stage together as part of the 'Coup Costigan' drama competitions. Bill had a wonderful sense of humour, forever laughing. The fun we all had. And he was equally gracious to us all with his time and intellect. I am so grateful to have known him, and my deepest condolences go to his family and friends at this difficult time. RIP Bill.
