Connell Keane. Keane’s Cross, Carheeny, Gort, Co. Galway. Unexpectedly on the 26th of July 2021. It is with broken hearts and many tears we announce the sad loss of our Connell. Cherished and much-loved son of Sean and Maura and adored brother of Daithí and sister Saoirse. Sadly missed by his loving grandparents Jim and Maeve Donohoe. Fondly remembered by his aunts and uncles Gary & Armelle, Bernie & Noel, Anne & Matt, Patricia and Donal, cousins, relatives, neighbours and his many devastated friends and teammates in Beagh and Galway GAA.

In accordance with HSE and government guidelines on public gatherings the funeral mass and the family home is private and for family only at this time. Connell’s Requiem Mass will take place in St. Annes Church Shanaglish on Friday, July 30th at 11am. Connell will be laid to rest afterward’s in Shanaglish Cemetery. The funeral mass will be streamed live on Dolan Undertakers Facebook page. Funeral will be lived streamed click the link here. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired to the Irish Community Air Ambulance.

 

The funeral cortege will leave the family home at 10.30 am and travel via Keane’s cross, Whelan’s Bar and onwards to St. Anne's church. People attending the funeral route are kindly asked to please social distance and refrain from handshaking at all times. The Keane family deeply appreciate your support at this sad time.
