The death has occurred of Declan Spain

Declan died on the 12th of October 2021 peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Mick and Maura Spain. Declan will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his sisters Loretta and Dolores, brothers Michael, Seamus, Aidan and Tony, sisters in-law, brothers in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, his extended family and many friends who were so very supportive of Declan during his recent illness.

Declan's family would like to thank you for your support and understanding at this difficult time. Declan will repose at his home (2 Mountrath street) on Thursday (14th of October) from 4pm to 8pm for family and close friends, while observing social distancing guidelines and while wearing a mask. Removal from his home on Friday morning to the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Kilcormac, for 11am Funeral Mass (maximum of 50% church capacity), followed by burial in Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Kilcormac.

 

Friends and neighbours are welcome to stand along the route to and from the church and in the cemetery, while following social distancing guidelines. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the oncology department in the Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Messages of sympathy can be left in the condolence section below.
