Deirdre Kelleher Dowling of Shankill, Co. Dublin and UCD, passed away peacefully, after a long illness so bravely borne, with her family by her side on 12th September, 2020, in the exemplary care of the medical and nursing staff of St. Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin. Beloved wife and best friend of Des and mother of darling daughters Georgina and Genevieve, also sadly missed by her parents Noel and Rose (Kelleher), aunt Mary (Mitchell); siblings Brendan, Noelle, Ciara and Fergal; sisters-in-law Liz, Karen, Suzanne and Adar; brothers-in-law Mick, Noel and Paul, aunts, nephews and nieces, extended family and many friends.

 

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, on Wednesday, 16th September, from 2.00pm to 5.00pm with strict social distancing, hand hygiene and the wearing of masks. A private Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, 17th September at 11.00am in St. Anne’s Church, Shankill which may viewed on stannesparishshankill.com. Following the Mass, burial will take place in Shanganagh Cemetery at 12.30pm approx. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Marie Keating Foundation.
