Peacefully surrounded by his loving family.  Dearly loved husband of Mabel, much loved father of Kieran, Michelle and Mike and loving grandad, gan-gan of Evan, Liadh, Dara, Chloe and Emma.  Sadly missed by his family, daughter-in-law Therese, son-in-law Brendan Lohan and Mike's partner Linda, brothers Brian and Kevin, sister Noreen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, Uncle Denis, relatives, neighbours and his many great friends.

In accordance with Government and HSE guidelines and in the interest of public health, a private funeral will take place for Denis P. Counihan on Monday morning in St Mary's Cathedral. Requiem Mass will be live streamed on churchservices.tv/killarneycathedral on Monday morning at 10.30am, followed by burial in Killarney Burial Ground, Knockeenduve, Killarney.  Family flowers only by request, donations, if desired, to Palliative Care.
