The death has occurred of Denis Reid, Belfast, Co. Down and formerly of Ballymena, Co. Antrim, 2nd October 2022, peacefully, in the care of the staff at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, Scotland and surrounded by his loving family. Cherished husband of Anne (nee Boyd). A devoted dad to Karen (Hayward, Edinburgh), Denise (Sweeney, Dublin) and Angela (Costello, Boyle) and a much-loved father-in-law to Larry, Paul and Brian. A loving brother to Vincent, Monica and Francis and the late Mary, Pat, Joe, Teresa, Rosaleen and Chris RIP. A proud Granda to Beth, Malachy, Joe, Owen, Paul, Roisin, Larry and Sarah. Denis’ remains will leave his late home on Friday, 14th October, at 5.15pm to arrive St Colmcille’s Church, Holywood, for 6.00pm. Funeral on Saturday, 15th October, after Requiem Mass at 11.00am, interment afterwards in Redburn Cemetery. Mass can be viewed live via www.stcolmcillesholywood.org/ Deeply regretted by his wife, daughters, sons-in-law, brothers, sister, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close circle of family friends.
