On November 12th 2023, peacefully, at Milford Care Centre, surrounded by his loving family.

Very deeply regretted by his beloved partner Mary, Mary's family her son Kieran, her daughter Orlagh, Des's children Lisa, Ian, Dessie and John, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers Kevin and Ciaran, sisters Patti, June and Josephine, nephews, nieces, other relatives, wide circle of friends and neighbours.

The family would like to thank his G.P. Dr. Kieran Hughes and the Staff of the Oncology Unit of University Hospital Limerick and the Staff and his former colleagues of Milford Care Centre, for their kindness and support to Des and his family.

Reposing at Milford Care Centre, Mortuary, on Tuesday, November 14th, from 5pm to 7pm.

Funeral will arrive at Shannon Crematorium on Wednesday, November 15th, for 12pm Humanist Service.
