Dora Donohoe (née Buckley); Church Street, Moate, Co Westmeath. August 10th  2022, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family after an illness bravely borne.   Predeceased by her parents Mary and Patrick, brothers Dessie, Johnny, Jimmy, and Fr. Liam.  Lovingly remembered by her husband Paddy, sons Aidan, Pat, Colm, Séan, Cathal, Liam, Andrew and Declan, daughters Helen, Maria, Ethna, Dorothy and Sinéad, 18 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sister Nancy, sisters-in-law Bridgie, and Linda, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Flynn’s Funeral Home, Moate, this Saturday, 13th August, from 5.30pm.  Removal at 7.40pm to St Patrick’s Church, Moate, arriving at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Kilcurley Cemetery, Tubber. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society  https://www.cancer.ie/ways-to-help/donate   

 

Dora’s family would especially like to thank all the medical staff involved in the care of Dora, particularly the palliative care team and Church Street Medical Centre.  The family are conscious of Covid in these times and kindly request that people attending the funeral are mindful of this.
