Peacefully, in hospital on 6 August 2019, following a short illness, aged 91 years.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Paddy (2009), son, Andrew (2008) and daughter, Anne (2018).
Lovingly remembered by her children Patrick, Paul, Ailse and Orla; daughters-in-law Mary and Suzanne; sons-in-law Chris, Tony and Terry; and much cherished grandmother to fourteen grandchildren.
So caring and thoughtful to her cousins, godchildren and other relatives and friends, Judy will be much missed by all who knew and loved her.
Born to Charles and Alice McGinty on 9 September 1927 in Laghy, Co. Donegal, educated Fourmasters NS, Drumenny, Co. Donegal, then the Dominican College Sion Hill, Dublin before graduating from UCD, Medicine (1952). Practised as a paediatrician in Dublin and Liverpool before a long career as a GP, first in Kirkby, Liverpool and then Thatto Heath, St Helens.
A requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Thomas of Canterbury, Windleshaw, St. Helens at 11.00am on Friday, 30 August, followed by St. Helens Crematorium.
