Eamonn Johnson

Glasnevin, Dublin / Athlone, Westmeath

Johnson, Eamonn, late of Glasnevin and formerly of Athlone, Co. Westmeath – 13th January 2022 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family and in the excellent care of the staff of the Bon Secours Hospital, Glasnevin. Eamonn, beloved husband of Ann and devoted father of Kevin, Gordon, Richard and Awdrey. Son of the late Patrick and Kathleen, grandfather of the late Paul and the Johnson twins.

 

Eamonn will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons and daughter, adored grandchildren Chloe, Katie, Adam, Ben, Robyn, Ruby, Freya, Sophie, Amy and Dylan, brothers Liam, Tony, Brendan and Padraig, sister Maura, son-in-law Darragh, daughters-in-law Jacinta and Aideen, partner Karen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Ballygall, on Saturday, 15th January, from 2.30pm - 5.30pm. Funeral on Monday morning, 17th January 2022, at 11am in Our Mother of Divine Grace Church, Ballygall, followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. We would ask that those attending the funeral, would adhere to guidelines regarding social distancing and the wearing of face coverings.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Professor Oscar Breathnach and his wonderful team in the Oncology Department, for their excellent care of Eamonn.
