Eileen Gunning
(née Crouch)

Castlerea, Roscommon / Tulsk, Roscommon

Eileen Gunning (née Crouch) No. 5 Woodstream, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Glenballythomas, Tulsk, Co. Roscommon. February 3rd, 2025 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff of Aras Mhathair Phóil Castlerea, surrounded by her loving family. Eileen is predeceased by her husband John and her grandson Keith. Loving mother of Martin (Roscommon), Mary (Coventry), Gerry (Tuam), Patricia (Castlerea), Chrissie Forde (Athlone) and Paula Bowman (Castlerea). Eileen will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her loving sons and daughters, her adored grandchildren; Anthony, Daniel, Tara, Gary, Owen, Rory, Laura, Mark, Lisa, Sean and Liam. Her great-grandchildren; Harper, Nellie, Charlotte, Oliver, Clodagh and Caoimhe. Also, by her brother Tom and sister Chris (Coventry), sons-in-law Stephen, Anthony and Steve, and daughters-in-law Annette and Bridie. Sister-in-law Diane, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

 

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea, on Wednesday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock with removal at 7:15 to St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in Tulsk Cemetery. Eileen's funeral Mass can be viewed on St. Patrick's Church webcam by clicking on the link below.
