The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Lily) Morning (née Sweeney)

| The peaceful death has taken place at her home and surrounded by her loving family on Friday 25th November 2022, of Elizabeth (Lily) Morning, née Sweeney, Mondooey, Manorcunningham and formerly from Doaghbeg, Fanad. Predeceased by her husband Bertie and her parents, Catherine and Francis. Lily will be sadly missed by her six sons Patrick, Frank, Danny, Tony, Michael and Hugh, daughters-in-law Marjo, Breda, Philomena, Irene, Eileen and Christine, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters Brigid, Kathleen, Sheila and Eileen and her brother, Anthony (Tony), nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
May Lily Rest in Peace
Lily’s remains will be reposing at her home at Mondooey on Saturday 26th November from 3pm with Rosary both evenings at 9pm. Funeral from there on Monday 28th November at 10.30am going to St. Columba’s Church, Drumoghill for 11am Requiem Mass with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
A shuttle bus will be in operation from Drumoghill football Pitch (The Moss), from 4pm until 10pm both days of the wake (Saturday and Sunday).
