Emer Valdez (Roe), Wellfleet, Massachusetts, USA.

28th September 1993 – 4th November 2021

Our beautiful Emer has left us suddenly and unexpectedly, following a tragic accident on Thursday, 4th November 2021, while camping in Washington State, USA. 

Predeceased by her father, Hank, Emer leaves behind her heartbroken family: her mother, Valerie Roe (formerly of Kilternan, Co. Dublin) and brother Henry in Wellfleet; her family in Ireland, uncles and aunts, Laurence, Rosa, Gill and the late Ray Roe, and Ronnie Nolan; cousins Larry and Sandra Roe, Sorcha, Caitríona and Daragh Nolan. Fondly missed by her dear relatives in the United States and Ireland and her very wide circle of incredible friends across many countries.

A celebration of Emer will take place at Preservation Hall, Wellfleet, on Saturday, 27th November 2021, at 1pm US Eastern Time (6pm Irish time).
