| Peacefully, on Monday 19th December 2022 at the age of 93 years.
Beloved wife of The Late Dennis Cooper. Beloved daughter of The Late Joseph and Maureen Burgess of Prospect Hill, Galway. Loving mother of Barry, Denise (Colin) and Leslie (Michael). Devoted grandmother of Melanie, Delaney, Emily, Ryan and Niall.
Eta will be lovingly remembered by Joanne her dear friend. She will be greatly missed by her brother Joseph Burgess (Mary) of Sligo, her sisters Mary Garvey (Michael), Florrie Maloney (Patrick), both of Galway.
Predeceased by her brother Arthur Burgess, Michael Burgess (Ellen) and sister Rose O'Gorman (Thomas). She will also be missed by all her nieces and nephews and her entire extended in Ireland especially her loving niece May Lydon whom she loved so very much. All of which will be welcoming her home for interment with her parents.
Funeral Mass will be said at St. Patrick's Parish Church, Forster Street, at 10:00am on Saturday, 25th March 2023, with burial to take place at Bohermore Cemetery following the Mass.
Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Western Alzheimers Association.
