| The death has occurred of Evelyn Shannon (née Smyth). 4, Shangarrai, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan & formerly Cloughvalley, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan. 19th February 2023. Peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, at the Mater Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by her husband Cormac.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her cherished family, her sons Paddy, Cormac (Madeline), Aidan, Raymond (Maureen) & Paul (Sinéad), her adored grandchildren, Stefan, Fergal, Alex, Evan, Fionn & Orna and her great-grandson Cillian, her brother Eamonn (Castleblayney), Patsy (UK) and her sister Christina (Ballybay), her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.
MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.
Evelyn will repose at her home, 4, Shangarrai, Ballinagh, on Monday, 20th February, from 7pm until 9pm and at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Tuesday, 21st February, from 4pm until 8pm.
Evelyn's funeral cortège will leave her son Paul & daughter-in-law Sinead's home, St. Macartan's Villas, on Wednesday, 22nd February, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
