The death has occurred of Fintan Kelly
Donaghmede, Dublin / Dunboyne, Meath

Kelly, (Donaghmeade, Dublin and formerly of Dunboyne, Co. Meath) – June 6th, 2021 (peacefully) at the Mater Hospital after a short illness, Fintan (late of St. Francis Hospice, Raheny), beloved husband of Pat and much loved father of Deborah. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, sister Ann, brother-in-law Francis, sister-in-law Adrienne, son-in-law Paul, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, colleagues and friends.

 

May He Rest in Peace

In line with Government and HSE advice regarding funeral gatherings, a private funeral (limited to 50 people) will take place at 11am on Friday morning (June 11th). Live streaming of the funeral Mass can be viewed by clicking on the following link: Click Here to View Funeral Mass

 

Fintan’s Funeral Cortège is expected to leave his residence on Friday morning (June 11th) at 10:40am and will then proceed to the Church of the Holy Trinity, Donaghmeade. Anyone wishing to stand along the route as a mark of respect are asked not to gather in groups and to adhere to all guidelines relating to social distancing and the wearing of face masks. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral and cannot due to current restrictions may leave a personal message for the family in the section marked “Condolences” on the bottom of this notice.

Pat and Deborah would like to take this opportunity to thank most sincerely, the doctors, nurses and staff of both Beaumont Hospital and the Mater Hospital for the wonderful care given to Fintan during his recent illness and for the compassion shown to his family. They would also like to thank their relatives, neighbours, friends and Fintan’s colleagues in St Francis Hospice for their kindness and support during this difficult time.
