The death has occurred of
Fr. George WADDING C.Ss.R.
WADDING, Fr. George C.Ss.R. (late of Redemptorist Community, Griffith Ave, Dublin 9 and formerly of Waterford City). 24th August 2021 (peacefully) in the loving care of all the staff at the Mater Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Lil and George and his 11 siblings; mourned by his Redemptorist confreres, his sister Rachel (Plymouth), his nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews, sister-in-law Bridie, his many cousins, relatives, friends and the many he held dearly who worshiped regularly at Marianella, Orwell Road, Rathgar.
Rest in Peace
In accordance with government guidance a private funeral will take place in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Ballyfermot at 11.30 am. on Thursday followed by burial at Deansgrange Cemetery. The Mass may be viewed on www.assumptionballyfermot.ie.
