The death has occurred of
Fr. Raymond (Francis) Hickey OSA
Hickey, OSA, Fr. Raymond (Francis). (Dublin, Mount Merrion and Nigeria), July 9th , 2021. Son of the late Thomas and Gladys Hickey. Peacefully in Nigeria, after a long illness bravely borne. Greatly missed by his sister Gladys and brother Desmond and extended family including Fr. Raymond’s cousins and their families in London, Limerick and Dublin, his friends and his Augustinian confrères, both in Ireland and Nigeria.

Fr. Raymond’s funeral and burial will take place, in accordance with his deepest wish, in Jos, Nigeria. Following Mass, burial will take place in the Augustinian plot. The Augustinians and family are very grateful for the care Fr. Raymond received over the last few years from the care team in Ballyboden, and his brothers in Nigeria.
