Frances Mary Owens
(née Gardner)

Frances Mary Owens (née Gardner) of Skerries, Co. Dublin, died peacefully in Beaumont Hospital on the morning of 26th January, 2021.
 Frances was much loved and will be greatly missed by husband Garry, sons Conor, Brendan, Luke, and Daniel, daughters-in-law Kate, Tara, and Andreza, grandchildren Rory, Aidan, Gerry, Gráinne, Audrey, and Declan, brother Paul, sisters Hilary and Katherine, and many more.  Frances was born and grew up in New Malden, Surrey and lived in Skerries since 1981.  She was a long-time member of Skerries Sailing Club and Skerries Bridge Club and an active member of the Skerries Tidy Towns Committee. Her family express sincere appreciation to the kind staff of the Whitworth Ward in Beaumont who have taken good care of her.

A private family funeral service will be held in line with current restrictions on Friday, 29th January at 2pm. This can be viewed by clicking on this link: https://churchmedia.ie/private-1/ . Removal Friday, 29th January at 2:40pm from Duff's Funeral Home, Skerries, via Skerries Sailing Club, Skerries Bridge Club and Frances' Home for burial service at Ardla Cemetery for 3pm. It is hoped that a more inclusive celebration of Frances’ life will be held at a later date when circumstances permit. No flowers, please.
