Ballybane, Galway / Salthill, Galway
Gerry (61 years) passed away too quickly after a short illness bravely borne in the hands of the truly exceptional staff of John Heuston Ward, St. James Hospital, Dublin. Formerly of Rahylin Glebe, Ballybane, Glenard Road, Salthill and Orihuella Costa, Spain. Beloved son of John and the late Maura, much loved father of David, Sandra and Darren . Sadly missed by his father, sons and daughter and their mother Carmel, his partner Jackie, brothers Ronan and John, sister Maria, daughter-in-law Alana, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.
In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 all funeral arrangements will take place privately for a limited number of 25 people. Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. on Thursday, 26th November at the Church of the Holy Family, Mervue. Private cremation to follow. The family appreciate your sympathy, support and understanding at this time. Family flowers only please. Donations, if preferred, to Cancer Care West.
