Gertrude (Gertie) Collier

Peacefully, in her 98th year, at Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan. Formerly Dunsany, Meath and Strandhill Road, Sligo. Predeceased by her husband Des. Devoted mother to Conall. Gertie will be very sadly missed by her son Conall, daughter-in-law Zita, Zita’s sons and their families, brother-in-law Fr Mel Collier, sister-in-law Sr Josephine (Sinead) Collier, nieces, nephews, relatives, good neighbours and friends.

May Gertie Rest in Peace

Reposing at St. Joseph’s Chapel of Rest, Old Johnstown, Navan (C15 C425) on Tuesday from 5pm, followed by removal at 7pm. Arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Navan, for 7:30pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am which can be viewed on https://www.navanparish.ie/livestream. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Gertie’s family would like to thank the staff from Bluebird Care, Navan and Care Choice Nursing Home, Trim for taking care of Gertie with such great kindness.
