(née McGuinness)

Bray, Wicklow / Kilmacanogue, Wicklow / Kiltimagh, Mayo

Greta Lawlor (née McGuinness), Bray, Co. Wicklow, formerly Kiltimagh, Co. Mayo, January  6th 2021, peacefully, with her husband and daughter by her side, in the exceptional care of Our Lady’s Hospice, Blackrock, after a long illness borne with grace and dignity. Greta will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Michael, daughter Erin, son-in-law Kevin, her adored and adoring grandchildren Ava and Clodagh, sisters, brother, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  

 

In accordance with current Government guidelines and in the hope of keeping our family and friends safe, a private family funeral will take place.  Funeral Mass Saturday, January 9th, at 12 noon in Holy Rosary Church, Greystones, after which Greta will be laid to rest in Kilmacanogue cemetery. The funeral Mass can be viewed on www.greystonesparish.ie. It will also be available for viewing from 12 noon on Sunday by clicking on http://www.Facebook.com/eastcoastvideo

 

Those who would have liked to attend the funeral but due to current restrictions cannot, may wish to leave a message in the ‘Condolences’ section below. The family wish to thank Professor Ray McDermott, the staff of the Oncology Day Care and the Cedar Ward of SVPH and the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice, Blackrock, for the wonderful care and attention afforded to Greta.
