| The death has occurred of Hugh Treanor (Paddy), Derrygasson Upper, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan, H18 C602 and formerly of Corryarabeg, Carrickroe, Monday, 27th February, aged 71, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Agnes, sister Anna and brothers Michael, John, Frankie and Louis. Hugh was beloved husband of Goretti (née McKenna), loving father of Paula (Philip), Michael (Sabrina) and Karen (Eamonn) and devoted grandfather to Matthew, Fintan, Darragh and Caolan. Sadly missed by his brother Kevin (Ann), his brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews from both the Treanor (Paddy) and McKenna (Oiney) families, as well as his large extended family circle.
May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Hugh's remains will repose at his residence in Emyvale until Tuesday at 10pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am at The Church of the Sacred Heart, Carrickroe. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to The National Rehabilitation Centre, Dun Laoghaire c/o Peter McMahon, McMahons Funeral Home, Emyvale.
