James passed away peacefully on September 26th 2024, in his 99th year, in the tender care of the staff of Cluain Árann Nursing Home, Tipperary Town.

 

Pre-deceased by his parents James and Hanorah, his sisters Mary, Bridget (Sissy), Elizabeth, Christina and Hanorah, brothers William, Michael and Stephen.

 

Sadly missed by his grandnephew Richard, and his wife Mary Donoghue, nephews, nieces - especially Maisie and Delia, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family, many kind neighbours, friends, and his carers.

Lying in repose in the Chapel of Peace, Fraser's Funeral Home, Galbally, Co Limerick E34 AE22 on Saturday, September 28th from 6 to 8 pm followed by evening prayers. Reception on Sunday, September 29th into Church of the Sacred Heart, Lisvernane for Mass at 1 pm after which James will be laid to rest in the Church grounds.
