Haughney Green/Clonmoran, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny

Maher (Haughney Green, Kilkenny and formerly of Clonmoran Cross) 4th June 2021, peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospital, James (Jim), predeceased by his parent William and Bridget, brothers Michael, Billy and Joe, sisters Mary (Russell) and Peggy (Shanahan), sadly missed by his brother Paddy, sister-in-law Bridie, nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

Jim's family would like to thank in a special way Dr. Colm Costello, the staff at St. Luke's Hospital and the staff of St. Mary's Day Care Centre, especially Birdie Hayes, for the care and kindness shown to Jim.

 

May Jim Rest in Peace.

In accordance with current Government/H.S.E. guidelines and in the interest of public health, a private funeral for family and close friends will take place for Jim, with Requiem Mass celebrated on Monday (7th June) at 11am in St. Mary's Cathedral, Kilkenny (max of 50 in church). Interment afterwards in Foulkstown Cemetery. House private please.
