James (Jimmy) Flanagan

James (Jimmy) Flanagan ; Ballinagarbry, Moate and formerly of Athlone Road, Moate,  Co. Westmeath,  August 11th  2022, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the care of University Hospital Galway.   Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Kathleen, brothers William, Jackie, Paddy, and Oliver, sisters Kathleen, Maggie, Carmel, Mary and Nancy. Sadly missed by his loving wife Sheila, daughter Aisling, son-in-law Niall, sisters-in-law Phil (Ballycumber) and Nell (London), brother in law John Mills (Manchester), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Jimmy Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his residence this Sunday, 14th August, from 3pm to 7pm.  Removal on Monday to St Patrick’s Church, Moate, arriving at 11.20 for Funeral Prayers.  Funeral Mass at 11.30am.  Burial afterwards in Kilcurley Cemetery, Tubber.

Jimmy will be fondly remembered always for his kindness, generosity and above all his love for his family. 

Jimmy’s family are conscious of Covid in these times and kindly request that people attending the funeral are mindful of this.
