James (Jimmy) Glacken

James (better known as Jimmy) Glacken, Carracrum, Bonniconlon, Co. Mayo. Peacefully, at his residence. Predeceased by his parents, his sister Breege Hegarty and his brother Marty. Jimmy, former Mayo County Councillor, deeply regretted and dearly missed by his wife Maureen, his children Mary, Breda (Melvin), Séamus, Geraldine (Maguire), Catherine and Éilish, his sister Loretta Farrell, daughter-in-law Tracey, sons-in-law David, Mike and Ryan, his adored grandchildren Ava, Hannah, Emma, James, Isabelle, Conor and Seán, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and a wide circle of family and friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Gallagher’s Funeral Home, Bonniconlon, on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. Please respect Covid-19 guidelines including wearing of face coverings. 

Removal from his residence on Friday morning to the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Bonniconlon, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Bonniconlon Cemetery.

House strictly private on Friday morning, please.
