The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) McAree, Dundalk Road, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at St. Anne’s Nursing Home, Ballybay Friday, 3rd March 2023. Predeceased by his wife Anna, daughters Geraldyne Campbell and Eileen McAree, sister Eileen Carberry. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving daughters Jacinta and Martina, brother Michael, sons-in-law Leo Murphy and Vincent Campbell, grandchildren Lianne, Brian, Helena, Conal, Seosamh and Lauren, great-grandchild Ciara, sisters-in-law Joan and Philomena, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross (A81 C653) on Saturday afternoon from 2pm to 7pm. Removal from his residence (Dundalk Road) on Sunday afternoon at 2.30pm on foot via Farney Street arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross for Requiem Mass at 3pm. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
