James (Jimmy) Molloy

A true gentleman, loving husband and cherished father, Jimmy passed peacefully on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021, after a short illness, borne with dignity and courage, whilst surrounded by his heartbroken family in the exceptional care of the staff of ICU and HDU in UHG. Jimmy will be deeply missed by his heartbroken wife Patricia (Patsy), sons Tom and Colm, daughter Rena, daughter-in-law Ellaine and Tom's partner Trish. Fondly remembered by his brother Colie, sisters Una, Nora and Molly, sisters-in-law Kitty Smith (USA) and Rita, brother-in-law PJ, Cousin Liz, nephews, nieces, relatives and his many friends.

Jimmy will rest at his home with his family and close friends. House private, by request. Funeral Mass will take place in Saint Colman's Church, Gort, on Tuesday at 1pm. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Mass will be live streamed on the Gort Parish facebook page. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Patient Comfort Fund ICU U.H.G.
