WOODLOCK, Joan (Dodo), (née Bergin), Skerries, Co Dublin, on 7th June 2021 in her 89th year, peacefully after a long illness. Dearly beloved wife of the late Vincent for 65 years, wonderful mother to Michael, Johnny, Jane, Brian and Paul, adored sister to Margaret, Nessie, Denis and the late Michael. Sadly missed by her sons and daughter, sisters and brother, sisters-in-law, daughters-in-law and son-in-law, grandchildren Kate, Molly, Anna, Ciara, Ben, Jessica, Euan, Finn and Andrew, nieces, nephews and friends.

 

Joan loved the time she spent with her many friends in Skerries, Rush, Ballyboughal and further afield, Rush Golf Club (Lady Captain in 1984), Skerries Bridge Club, Skerries Meals-on-Wheels and Skerries Golf Club.

 

A huge thank you to the staff and management of Rush Nursing Home for their wonderful care over the past four years. Your kindness will forever be appreciated by Joan’s family.

A private family funeral will take place on Thursday at 11am in St. Patrick's church Skerries, (max 50 at church) with private burial in Ardla cemetery.
