BOWEN (Ballinoe, White’s Cross) On 30th January 2023, peacefully, after a long illness valiantly fought, surrounded by his loving family and in the kind and gentle care of the nurses and caregivers of Ballynoe CareChoice, JOE, lived happily in large part due to the amount of love and care he gave and received from so many people. He was much loved and will always be remembered by his loving family, his beloved wife Frances, his children, Noel, Assumpta (Whelton) and Stephen, his cherished four grandchildren Aoife, Ciara, Kate and Daniel, daughter-in-law Linda, son-in-law Thomas, Stephen’s partner Jennifer, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, extended family, friends, neighbours and by all who knew and loved him.

 

Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Wednesday (1st February) at 10.00am, family in attendance from 5.00pm with Rosary at 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (2nd February) at 11.00am in the North Cathedral. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Mercy Hospital Foundation.
